At Lake Spokane Community Church, we are committed to sharing the Gospel—not only in our own community but also throughout our region, our nation, and the world. We support select ministries in these areas and, whenever possible, send our own members to serve directly.

We prioritize reaching the least-reached, supporting people groups with no established church, and aiding ministries in the greatest need. With limited resources, we strive to invest wisely, evaluating each ministry’s strategic impact in the context of global needs.

Beyond financial support, we seek to ignite a passion for missions within our church. We encourage our members to learn about the work of missionaries, pray for them, and engage with their ministries. We regularly invite guest missionaries to speak, offer encouragement, and assist with special needs. Most importantly, we believe that going and serving firsthand is one of the most powerful ways to cultivate a heart for missions.

Missions will always be a core emphasis at Lake Spokane Community Church because Christ’s command to “Go into all the world…” (Matthew 28:19) remains as urgent today as ever.

Action International

Overflowing with love and gratitude, my heart's desire after embracing the truth of the Gospel at the age of 24 was to devote my life to serving the Lord full-time in some capacity. That desire became a reality 7 years later when I felt the Lord leading me to Austria to be involved in the refugee ministry at the Oasis center. And now 35+ years later, I can say that it's been, and continues to be, my privilege and joy, to share the truth with the refugees whom the Lord brings across our path, many from a Muslim background who have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel before.

Choshen Farm is lead by Jeremy and Bethany Colvin, where they serve as the chief strategists and visionary leaders of the operation. Village Missions
Four Lakes, Washington, United States
Four Lakes Community Church is a non-denominational church committed to Christ Jesus and guided by the authority of the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. We exist to exalt the Lord, edify and equip the saints, and evangelize the lost. We are located twelve miles west of Spokane in the beautiful countryside just north of Cheney, Washington. Please feel free to stop by and join us in our worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. Kevin and Lynn first felt called to vocational ministry in 1985. Kevin responded by attending Bible school and became part of a church staff while still in school. Kevin and Lynn have served in many roles within the local church since then. For some time Kevin was senior pastor at a former Village Missions church. He also served with a Christian camping organization. Then he sensed that God wants to use his experience and gifts within a church again. The heart of Village Missions -- to preach the Word and love the people -- is the model Kevin and Lynn desire to employ, and they feel called to serve within a small church. In February 2023, they started serving in Four Lakes, WA.

Mesa Global
Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe
Youth and Church Development
Shawn and Christena Werdebaugh serve as missionaries in Slovenia, following a clear calling God first placed on Shawn’s heart in 2001. They have a deep burden to see this nation transformed by the gospel, where fewer than one percent know Jesus as their personal Savior. In December of 2001, Shawn clearly sensed God say, “You’re going to Slovenia.” Two years later, Shawn married Christena, and in the early months of their marriage they miraculously connected with missionaries already serving in Slovenia—further confirming God’s call. Eleven years after that initial calling, Shawn and Christena moved to Slovenia with their four children in 2012. They began their ministry in Kočevje, where they served for seven years before God led them to relocate near the capital city of Ljubljana, where they now serve. The Werdebaughs are passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus personally and helping believers grow in maturity and knowledge of the Lord. Their heart is to see lives transformed and communities reached as God’s Word and light spread throughout Slovenia.
