Marian Pond was a young woman when she dared to follow God's call to to French West Africa - a land full of dangers and hardships. As she served the the medical and educational needs of the Dogon tribe, she constantly faced paganism, deadly snakes and the brutal heat of the desert. Her faithfulness and acts of mercy led many to a faith in Christ. Her amazing story is drawn from 20 years of letters home to her family in Colville, Washington.
