A collection of stories about the nine children born to Doris Aldrich, and the four children born to Jane Franks. The setting is a small farm near Vancouver, Washington, with a spacious old farm house, an orchard, a large vegetable garden, a pasture and small lake. Horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits and pigs helped make life interesting. The stories told are hopefully a testimony to the faithfulness of God to household salvation-even to our children's children-and the presence of God in the commonplace issues of daily life.
